Volunteer Groups
Forte is a volunteer group that supports Richmond Ballet through special events and activities. Members assist in organizing and hosting the Kentucky Derby Day Party, and other important fundraisers that are critical to the continuing success and growth of Richmond Ballet, its school and outreach initiatives. Forte brings energetic members of the Richmond community together for spectacular ballet performances and social gatherings throughout the year.

BRAVO (Ballet Resource and Volunteer Organization) is a volunteer membership organization that exists to support Richmond Ballet and the School of Richmond Ballet with special emphasis on enhancing the dance education and associated opportunities for students. BRAVO volunteers help the School of Richmond Ballet by offering their time, by attending performances and by fundraising.
Students and parents benefit from BRAVO-sponsored programs on matters such as health, care and protection of bones and muscles, nutrition, keys to better stage performance and many other areas of interest.
BRAVO Boutique
Visit the BRAVO Boutique, located on the first floor of Richmond Ballet, or at the theater during performances, for a vast array of t-shirts, sweat shirts, gifts, posters and more.

Kentucky Derby Day Party
Mint juleps anyone? Get involved and meet a fun group of dedicated volunteers while helping to plan and execute one of Richmond’s foremost spring events! Help with selling tickets, auction items, decorations, entertainment and much more.
Sweets Parties
Holiday festivities. Join us as we introduce Clara and her Prince, the Sugarplum Fairy, the Russian Bear and all their friends to the audience after select performances of The Nutcracker
Wine Auction
Posh and luxurious. It’s a swanky occasion that’s not to be missed. Join a committee and help with the planning process of lend a hand the day of the event.

Administration
The experience. Assist our staff with various duties in the marketing, development, patron services, and community relations departments.
Production
Fly on the set. Our quality production team always needs help building scenery, hanging lights and sets, running sound, creating costumes and much more to ensure Richmond Ballet productions are at their finest.
RB Street Team
Grassroots efforts. Help us get the word out about Richmond Ballet. Hang up posters and flyers around town and become eligible to win prizes and tickets.
Ushers
Right this way…. We need your help as we greet and seat our patrons of the Studio Series. Ushers usually get to see the performances for free!
