Apprentices, Trainees, Summer Intensive Program
Summer Session Dates:
June 22 - July 25, 2009

The auditions listed at right are for the summer session (ages 12+), year-long
trainee program (ages 17+), paid company apprentices (ages 19+) and
professional company. No pre-submission of resume is required. The Summer
Intensive Program includes ballet, pointe, pas de deux, men’s technique, jazz,
modern, character dance, enrichment courses and performance opportunities.
Richmond Ballet trainees, and some apprentices, are selected at the summer
session and attendance at the summer session is required.
Audition Fee: $20 (cash only) for those 18 and under.
Audition Dress: Leotard and tights only (pink tights for ladies):
no sweats or warmers. Ladies will wear pointe shoes for center work. Men wear
fitted t-shirt and tights, please.
Video Audition: Summer Intensive Program applicants may submit a
video audition. Tape/DVD should be no more than 10 minutes in length. Please include video
audition form (see link below), photos and $25 video audition fee with Tape/DVD. Please send
